Can we force users to enter their email twice to confirm it?

An Email Validator field automatically validates that an email address that is entered adheres to the proper format for an email address. Sometimes, users may mistype their email address. For those cases, you may enable an option for them to confirm the email address.

  1. Create an email field on your form by inserting a question and choosing Email as the type.
  2. Click on the question, and click the configuration panel to the the right of the page.
  3. Toggle on "Require users to confirm the email address."
  4. Save your form, and watch the email addresses roll in!
Toggle "Require users to confirm the email address" in the configuration panel for your Email question.

Gotcha

  • The email field only checks if the text entered conforms to the shape of an email address, such as xxx@xxx.xxx. It does not validate that the email address entered is a valid, working email address.
