You can capture e-signatures on our Pro and Agency plans with the Signature field. To use this, add a new question, and change its type to "Signature."
Users can sign in Signature fields by drawing on touch-enabled devices, or using the cursor on devices without touch support.
Each country has different requirements for valid e-signatures. Please check the requirements for your country, or seek legal advice if you’re unsure.
Note on file uploads
When users confirm their signature, it is converted to an image file. When a file is uploaded to Paperform, it is given a unique, unguessable public URL so that anyone who has been given that URL will be able to access that file. This is necessary to be able to easily upload files to other services, or share files uploaded with people who are not a user of your Paperform account.
On our Pro and Agency plans, you can opt to have your files stored in your own S3 bucket, instead of on Paperform's servers.
