Slider questions are a powerful tool to make your forms even more amazing. They might seem daunting, but if you follow our step-by-step instructions, you'll be raring to go in no time!
Using Slash Commands
Click on the empty line in your form where you'd like to add the new slider question.
Select the Add questions button on the left-hand side of your form editor.
A default question will appear. Modify the question type by clicking on the drop-down menu provided on the right.
You also have the ability to modify elements like the question title and hint.
Configure your slider question by clicking the "cog" icon on the right-hand side of your new field.
The minimum and maximum settings allow you to set the range for your slider. Users submitting your form will only be able to move the slider between the two numbers you provide, allowing for more refined control over your form!
The slider step is the increment the slider will move when the user enters the answer to your question.
Here's an example of a slider using a step of 1.
There are two options available for changing your slider's labels...
Hide the min and max labels
This option allows you to hide the labels shown at the ends of the slider. This can be useful for when you want a cleaner, more minimalist form design.
Hide the value label
This option allows you to hide the label on the slider value (the small circle you move to change the question answer).
You can change the default position of the slider in your question configuration. Simply drag it along the line to your desired default position.
If you change your mind later, simply click Remove Default Answer and it will reset to the minimum value.
