Paperform's Stripe integration comes with dynamic 3D Secure support. This means that if a credit card used for payment on a form requires 3D Secure to be processed, Paperform will automatically use 3D Secure.

How do I always use 3D Secure?

You can optionally require all credit card payments to use 3D Secure by setting up 3D Secure Radar rules in Stripe.

Gotchas

Impact on subscriptions:

Typically subscriptions on cards with required 3D Secure validation will automatically fail. By default, this prevents new subscriptions from being created on cards that require 3D Secure validation.

You can avoid this default behavior by setting up 3D Secure with Stripe subscriptions, which will allow 3D secure payments to work for subscriptions.
