Can I hyperlink a URL on my form?

You can turn any text or image on your form into a hyperlink. We have made it stress-free and allowed you to focus on making your form as personal as possible.

Text

For text links, follow these steps:

  1. Simply type what text you wish to link to the URL. For example, "Click Here."

  2. Highlight this text and a formatting bar will appear above the text.

  3. Click on the link icon, add the URL, and hit enter.

When a respondent clicks on this text in the live version of your form, it will open the URL in a new tab.

Images

Images can be hyperlinks too. Once you've added an image to your form, click on it to bring up the formatting bar. You can use the same link icon here.

Gotchas

  • Links must include the full URL, including the http:// or https:// at the beginning. A link like https://example.com would work, but example.com by itself would not.
  • Technically speaking, buttons are not supported (unless you use custom HTML, which is available on the specific plans). If you can create an image that looks like a button, though, you can always add that to your form and turn it into a hyperlink.

Happy form-making!
