You can remove the background and shadow of questions on your form within the Theme & Appearance editor.

To do this:

  1. Click the "Theme & Appearance" button located on the left Question Panel. Theme & Appearance button
  2. Toggle off "Questions have background box shadow" in the quick access settings. The "Questions have background box shadow" toggle in the Theme & Appearance panel.

Alternatively, this toggle can also be accessed under UI Elements → Questions.

Advanced Styling

If you're looking for a more bespoke approach to modifying question backgrounds, this requires the use of Custom CSS (a feature exclusively available with specific pricing plans.).

No, a background image cannot be set for individual questions. The background image you set will apply to all the questions and pages.

To ensure the best quality across all devices, we recommend images are at least 1500 to 2500 pixels wide.
