Meet David Weinberger, the driving force behind growth at Paperform. With his unique blend of marketing expertise and a passion for work-life balance, David embodies the heart and soul of Paperform's values. From juggling data analysis with school drop-offs, to leading a team that thrives on camaraderie and innovation, David's journey offers a refreshing look at what it truly means to drive growth in a tech company.

What does your standard workday look like?

My standard workday always kicks off with a strong double shot of coffee. Then, I drop the kids off at school before I really get into the swing of things.

Once that's done, I sit down and rewrite my to-dos for the day. I find it really helps to reevaluate and pick my top three priorities to focus on. Then, I'm ready to dive into some data and start ticking off the tasks for the day.

Around midday, I make sure to take a break for lunch. I'll go for a walk, run an errand, or fit in a quick run if I'm feeling energetic. Post-lunch, it's back to work. I spend the afternoon prepping for the next day's meetings and finishing off any remaining tasks.

Why did you join Paperform?

I could tell very early on in the application process that Paperform was the place for me. The 'life-work balance' and support from the founders has been a game-changer. It has allowed me to always be there for my kids and really enjoy my work too. It's unlike any place I have worked before.

As a growth person, it is also such a pleasure to work with a brilliant product like Paperform. Our users just love it.

What were you doing before you joined Paperform?

I've previously worked in a similar role at in another SaaS business. Prior to that I held a wide range of role in marketing across various industries.

Which one of Paperform's values do you care about the most?

Arguing well and assuming the best in others. For me, this is the foundation of a well-functioning team. It encourages new ideas and change where it's needed.

What's one of your favourite things about working at Paperform?

The people I work with. Every employee at Paperform is highly intelligent, but it's more than just their smarts. What really makes it special is how everyone brings something different to the table. We all complement each other.

A team isn't just one single entity — it's made up of individuals, each with their own strengths, and I think we have a great balance.

What is your favourite thing about your team?

The laughs. We are humans at the end of the day, and when you can share a laugh with your co-workers it makes life and work much more enjoyable.

How would you describe the culture at Paperform? What makes it different from other jobs you've had?

If I had to sum it up in just one word: "genuine". We're a bootstrapped business, and that means there's a level of transparency that I've not seen elsewhere. It's not just about the bottom line, it's about making the right choices for our users, and for the business, in equal measure.

We've got a really strong culture here, and we take it seriously. Everyone who joins us, they're put through their paces. It's not about weeding people out, but about making sure that they're going to contribute positively to the fantastic culture that Dean and Diony, Paperform's founders, have built.

In other jobs, culture can feel like a buzzword, something that's talked about but not really lived. But here at Paperform? Culture is in everything we do.

What's your favourite Paperform feature?

That's a tough one. It's not so much about one individual feature for me, but more about the incredible flexibility that Paperform offers.

You've got a form builder, a calendar booking tool, a payment portal, a landing page creator... it can even serve as a mini website or a Linktree alternative! The versatility is just fantastic.

What's your favourite Paperform integration?

For me, it is the Appointment field with the Google Calendar integration. Meetings are just so easy to manage.

When you aren't working, what can we find you doing?

Spending time with the kiddies, playing soccer, or failing at a DIY I promised my wife would be awesome.
