Working for us

We’re a remote team, with an office based in Sydney, Australia. To work for us you need a stable internet connection, a passion for getting stuff done, and outstanding communication skills. We use tools like Slack for communication and Asana for project management.

For this role, we’re looking for someone who lives in Sydney to work alongside our Growth Manager in the CBD.

The role - Digital Marketing Intern (part-time, 1-2 days / week negotiable)

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Intern. Day to day, you’ll be supporting our Marketing Team as we test and execute strategies to grow Paperform. There will be ongoing opportunities to learn and grow with the company.

An ideal candidate will be highly self-motivated, able to take initiative in solving problems, and someone that can take ownership of projects, without needing to be micromanaged. Working as part of a remote team, you will be expected to be able to communicate clearly using a variety of different mediums (including video calls, Asana, and Slack), take a task through to completion, be comfortable with raising issues or questions along the way, and reporting on your work.

Responsibilities

  • Search Engine Optimization - Learning SEO strategies and executing a variety of tasks to improve Paperform’s organic traffic from search engines. Key tasks include keyword research, link building and content writing.
  • Social Media - Creating creative content for Paperform’s social accounts (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) and monitoring engagement.
  • General assistance to the Growth team.

Skills/Attributes

  • Creative writing, and good research skills. (e.g. I can research and publish a high quality article on a subject I know nothing about).
  • Comfortable learning new technology. (e.g. I can survive on the internet.)
  • Strong communication / people skills. (e.g. I can talk to, negotiate with and handle people on the internet..)
  • Can follow a process with an attention to detail.
