Can I archive completed documents in Papersign?

This article is for the eSignature product, Papersign. For Paperform, see deleting forms or deleting submissions.

After a document has been signed by all parties, its status will change to "Completed" in the Papersign dashboard. If you'd like to remove any completed documents from the main page of your dashboard, they can be archived.

To archive a completed dashboard, click the hamburger menu to the right of the document in the dashboard, and then select "Archive Document."

Alternatively, you can select the document to bring up its "Details" page, then select "Archive" in the top-right corner.

Archived documents do not appear in the main dashboard or spaces, but they have not been permanently deleted and you can restore them at any time. Click the "Archived" button in the lower-left corner of the dashboard to view your archived documents.

To restore an archived document, select "Restore Document" from the hamburger menu, or click on the "Restore" button from its "Details" page.

Gotchas

Archiving a document only affects how it appears in your own dashboard—other signers will still be able to view and download the completed document as usual.

Only completed documents can be archived. Drafts and sent documents that have not been signed by all parties can be deleted permanently.
