How do I reject a Papersign document?

If you've been sent a Papersign document and you decide not to sign it, you have the option to reject it instead.

From the document

While viewing the document, select "More Actions" in the top-right corner, then click "Reject document."

You will be prompted to provide a reason. The document owner will receive a notification that the document was rejected, and your reason will be recorded.

Rejecting the Electronic Record and Signature Disclosure

You can also reject the Electronic Record and Signature Disclosure (if your document has one). Rejecting this agreement will automatically reject the entire signature request. Click the triangle icon next to "I agree" to change the button to "Reject."

After you click the new "Reject" button, the owner will be notified that the document was rejected because you did not consent to the initial agreement.

If you'd like to provide a custom reason, click the "Dismiss" button in the bottom-left corner of the Electronic Record and Signature Disclosure page instead. This will bring you to the full document, which you can then reject from the "More Actions" menu. You will be asked to provide a reason.

Gotchas

Can someone else sign the document for me?

Some documents allow you to nominate another person to sign in your place.
