How to Pause your Paperform Subscription

Not ready to cancel? You can now pause your subscription instead.

Why pause instead of cancel?

If your subscription is canceled, your account will remain dormant and retain your forms and data for 30 days. You also won't be able to access you submission data. If your account has been cancelled for more than 30 days, your submission and form data may be deleted - we recommend exporting any submission results before canceling.

Benefits of pausing

Pausing your subscription allows you to:

  • Put a hold on billing while your subscription is paused.
  • Keep your existing forms and data safe without deletion.
  • Resume your subscription at any time.
  • Preserve your setup without needing to rebuild when you return.

While paused, your forms will be inactive, and you won’t be able to create new forms—but everything stays in place for when you're ready to come back.

Note: You can pause your subscription once per 12-month period, for a maximum of 6 months at a time.

You can pause your subscription by clicking the cancellation button on the Billing Page of your Account Settings.

Then follow the flow until the pausing option appears.

Pausing your Subscription

The maximum length that you can pause your subscription for is 6 months. If you would like to resume your subscription sooner, you can easily resume it at any time.

Pausing, like cancelling, will take effect at the end of your current billing period. For example, if you pause halfway through your monthly billing period, your subscription will remain active until the end of that billing cycle.
