Paperform Editorial Terms and Agreement

Paperform strives for editorial excellence. Our editorial process is very detailed. Each article we publish is processed through our Editor to ensure it aligns with our style. The purpose of this document is to help you increase the chances that your article meets our publication standards and to set forth the terms of our agreement should we publish your content.

1. General Agreements

Please read these terms carefully. These Paperform Editorial Terms and Agreement (“Terms” or “Agreement”) are made between Paperform Pty. Ltd. (ACN 615 732 682) (“Paperform”), a NSW, Australia, company, and you, as a Content Contributor (“Contributor”). These Terms relate to your Content Submission (“Submission/s” or “Content”) made to Paperform for editorial use, and (“Website” or “Site”). Please note, you as the Contributor must agree to these terms for all of the articles you submit for consideration or publication.

2. Original Content, Corrections, and Rights

a) Paperform publishes only original, previously unpublished articles and content specifically created for our Site. You may find inspiration from other articles you have written, but may not republish or repurpose existing work. You agree that all Content you submit has not been previously published and is your original creation, unless you provide us with advance written notice to the contrary. You also agree that the Content is free for us to use and does not contain anything that is false, inaccurate, or misleading.

b) You agree that Paperform has the right to make editorial improvements, corrections, or other changes it deems fit to your Content, at any time prior to or after its publication.

c) If your Content becomes outdated or needs updating, Paperform reserves the right to update your article after publication to ensure the accuracy and relevance of our content.

3. Content Submissions and License to Use

Unless you and Paperform enter into a separate written contract for use of your Content that states otherwise, you hereby grant to Paperform the royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, non-exclusive right and license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, perform, and display all content, remarks, suggestions, ideas, graphics, or other information communicated to Paperform through your Content Submission, and to incorporate any Submission in other works in any form, media, or technology now known or later developed.

4. Content Guidelines

Paperform publishes long-form tactical articles on digital marketing, business ownership, web design and development. We do not publish content that is overly editorial or advertorial in nature. We prefer to feature no-cost to low-cost solutions, but may consider those that have a higher cost.

To provide the actionable, step-by step direction and expert insight our readers value, you will need to have extensive first-hand working knowledge of the tactics, tools or processes you feature.

By agreeing to these Terms, you confirm that you have extensive first-hand working knowledge of the tactics, tools or processes you feature in your Content.

5. Copyright

a) You agree that you own the copyright for your Content Submissions, and for any images, video, design, and art you create for your Content. You agree that you won’t submit content that is in violation of copyright law, trademark law, or any other law protecting intellectual property in any jurisdiction, or that violates an individual’s rights to publicity or privacy.

b) However, if your copyrighted Content is published on our Site, you grant us a free license throughout the world to use your Content as follows:

i. A two-week exclusive license for us to use the Content published on our Site.

ii. A non-exclusive transferable license for us to display the Content in perpetuity (forever) on our Site and elsewhere. We reserve the right to modify the Content in accordance with this Agreement.

iii. A non-exclusive license to promote and syndicate the Content across partner and affiliate Sites in perpetuity.

All Paperform trademarks, service marks and trade names (collectively the “Marks”) are trademarks and/or registered trademarks owned by Paperform and/or third party owners that have granted Paperform a license to use such Marks on the Website and Services. Paperform’s Marks may not be used in connection with any website, product and/or service without the prior written consent of Paperform and the permission of any other relevant rights owners.

This prohibition does not extend to materials on the Website which are freely available for re-use or are in the public domain.

6. Links to Your Site

a) In your Content, you may include a single link back to educational material on your site if:

i. it is relevant to the Content and,

ii. does not point to a sales page or to gated content.

b) You may also include a single link back to a sales page if:

i. the product or service on the sales page is not in direct conflict with Paperform’s offering AND,

ii. the product or service on the sales page is relevant to the Content. However, the final decision to allow that link will be made by our editorial team.
