Paperform has always been about empowering you to create online forms that look exactly how you want—whether that’s changing fonts, tweaking colours, or adding images.
The visual experience matters. It allows you to take Paperforms beyond being ‘just a form’ and create experiences that engage audiences, reflect your brand and look pretty snazzy while doing so (if we do say so ourselves.)
With that in mind, this week we’ve added two brand spanking new features that make personalising your forms easier, faster and a bit more fun.
That’s right. We’ve partnered with Unsplash, one of the web’s largest providers of stock images, to give you access to more than two million high-resolution images without ever having to leave the Paperform editor.
It’s like having your own team of professional photographers to take all the beautiful snaps your heart desires. Whether you need an eye-catching header, brand images, or just want to spruce up your creations, you’ll find exactly what you’re looking for on Unsplash.
And did we mention it’s completely free? Yep, it doesn’t matter if you’ve signed up to the Essentials plan or are an Agency customer. We think it’s important everyone should be able to level up their forms with high-quality visuals.
You can insert Unsplash images anywhere on the page, use them as images in multiple choice or product questions, or set up custom success pages that look as gorgeous as the Amalfi coast—heck, why not just use photos of the real thing?
📚 Read more about how you can add Unsplash images to forms in our Unsplash Help Centre Guide.
Just click “add picture” and you’ll see a new option to access Unsplash’s library. You can scroll through a collection of top images or search for a specific term and pick the shots that stand out to you.
Of course, you can also use our slash commands. Simply type “/unsplash”, press “Enter” and you’re off to the races. Which brings us to another handy slash command that we’re excited about. . .
If a picture is worth a thousand words, we reckon animated GIFs have to be worth a few grand at least. That’s why, alongside Unsplash, we’ve teamed up with GIPHY, for those occasions when static pictures don’t quite cut it.
GIPHY is the leading online database for GIFs, stickers and animated images, emoji and text that offer unique ways to express your feelings and inject some good ol’ fashioned fun into online communications.
We’ve all had that moment when someone sends the perfect GIF on Slack (at Paperform it’s usually something to do with The Office). Now you can bring this experience to your forms to make them more engaging, more enjoyable and more you.
Insert animated GIPHY content anywhere you would an image. Use them to add flavour to multiple choice options, create dynamic product images, split up surveys or say “thank you” on your success page.
It works just like our Unsplash integration. When you click “add picture” you’ll also see a tab for GIPHYs library, where you can browse trending content or search for your personal favourites. You can also get quick access with the “/giphy” slash command.

These new integrations are just the latest development in our quest to help users build online forms that are easy, beautiful and yours. That’s it for now, but there will be more news and exciting features on the way very soon.
